17 time 1st, 2nd, 3rd , or Championship winner! Comments are always the same: awesome fleece!!!***
Full Peruvian, 3/8 ACCOYO, Dark Fawn, blue ribbon winning herdsire! He's got it all: unparalleled fineness (16 MICRON COUNT @ a year old!), high frequency crimp, luxurious handle, outstanding density, great conformation, & superior lineage.
Many have been mesmerized by the soft handle of Admiral's fleece, commonly uttering " This is the softest fleece I've ever touched!" AOBA judges are consistently impressed by his fleece, commonly calling him the "finest fleeced in the class". He has maintained this fineness even as a breeding herdsire, WOW! Combine this with his bundling high frequency crimp, Accoyo density, and great conformation, and it is no wonder his cria are looking the way they are: awesome!
His background is the real amazing story. His lineage includes, Accoyo Camillo, Accoyo Royal Fawn, Peruvian Magnum (National Champion, Peruvian Camelot, and PPPeruvian Misty Maiden, commonly referred to as "The Dam of the Century". Just prior to a recent new record, she held the all time high auction price for females at $205,000. Misty Maiden has been bred 8-9 times, each time with a different Service Sire and each time has produced Champions. That means the outstanding genetics are in her blood line. Misty's offspring/grand-offspring have dominated the show circuit since 1998. As of July 2006, the bloodline has earned over 60 championships & 70 blue ribbons. Every alpaca in his traceable lineage is either a champion themselves, or have produced champions!
Check out the pictures of Admiral's 2009 crias...Victoria and Hawkeye. Victoria is a beautiful brown female with that "Admiral head". Her fleece is gorgeous...dense and bright with nice character emerging. Hawkeye is a dark fawn male who also has the very typey "Admiral" head. His fleece is very fine showing consistent character. We have noticed all of our Admiral crias are friendly
Dam:
Chase Tavern Melina
|
UPDATE! Melina just had a gorgeous dark fawn female cria out of Admiral. She looks pretty nice. Check out her page...RDWD Admiral's Peruvian Mikayla.
Full Peruvian and 1/4 Accoyo, Melina is a very dense female with excellent size, bone, and coverage. Her white fleece is fine and bright with a long staple, and a nice uniform crimp structure throughout. Her conformation is good, with a correct bite and a very very attractive head.
Melina is a 1/2 sister to our 7X Champion Light Fawn Herdsire, Juggernaut! Her dam is our own Ivana Gold, and her sire is PC Tejon (a Full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo male). She boasts Accoyo Axel and Altiplano Gold genetics!
Melina will be rebred to our own Admiral who is a Champion producer! Admiral has been passing on his fineness to all of his cria and also throws those gorgeous typey heads and full fleeced faces. Wow...we hope this rebreed produces another cria as gorgeous as their 2011 female cria, Mikayla.

Full Peruvian and 5/16 Accoyo, Mikayla is a pretty female with excellent size, bone and coverage. Her dark fawn fleece is bright with a soft buttery handle. She has a nice crimp structure coming in at the skin. She has a correct bite, a very attractive head and a full-fleeced face which are all attributes of her sire, Admiral. We are very pleased with what we are seeing in this gorgeous little girl.
Mikayla's dam, Melina, is a 1/2 sister to 7X Champion Light Fawn Herdsire, Juggernaut! Her grand dam is Ivana Gold and her sire is 17 time 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Championship winning Herdsire, Admiral. Melina (white) was bred to Admiral (dark fawn) hoping to produce color and it worked...Mikayla's fleece is a gorgeous dark fawn.
Mikayla's lineage includes Accoyo Axel and Altiplano Gold genetics! Also Accoyo Camillo, Accoyo Royal Fawn, Peruvian Magnum (National Champion, Peruvian Camelot, and PPPeruvian Misty Maiden, commonly referred to as "The Dam of the Century". Just prior to a recent new record, she held the all time high auction price for females at $205,000. We are very pleased with what we are seeing in this little girl. With her award winning genetics, fleece structure, and great conformation, Mikayla can't help but do well in the show ring. She is certainly a nice female and has definite potential. Mikayla would make a great addition to any herd.
